Liucilė’s new piece to premier in Dutch Harp Festival

On May 16th 2021 Liucile’s new piece for 6 harps “Lost in Time” is going to receive an international premier in the internationally recognised Dutch Harp Festival! The piece will be performed by Harp Sirens ensemble (conducted by Hardy Li) in which Liucile is playing herself. The ensemble will also participate in the festival’s opening concert on May 15th. Together with Liucile’s composition the Harp Sirens will perform pieces by Esther Wu, Julian Maple-Oliveira, Thanakarn Schofield and Mári Máko.

"Harp Sirens" on NTR and TivoliVredenburg

On February 28 "Harp Sirens" will be performing in TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht once again. This time the ensemble will take part in "Pandora's Late Night" concert series. New pieces by Mári Mákó and Thanakarn Schofield will be performed. The concert will be broadcasted on NPO4.

Liucilė selected for a NMF harp
In October 2020 Liucilė has been selected to be one of the Stichting Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds (The Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation) musicians, thus getting a Lyon and Healy Style 100 harp from the foundation on loan.

Nukeliamas lapkričio 21 dienos arfos rečitalis
Lapkričio 21 dieną Vilniaus Taikomosios dailės ir dizaino muziejuje turėjęs įvykti Liucilės solo arfos rečitalis dėl pablogėjusios epidemiologinės situacijos Vilniuje kartu su visu M. K. Čiurlionio muzikos festivaliu yra nukeliamas į 2021 metų lapkričio mėnesį.

“Harp Sirens” to perform at “Dutch harp Festival” 2021
“Harp Sirens” are going to perform in the “Dutch Harp Festival” in Utrecht in May 2021. On the program there will be newly written compositions by several international composers.

On September 11, 2020 the “Harp Sirens” ensemble made its debut in “Gaudeamus” contemporary music festival in Tivoli Vredenburg, Utrecht. The concert has been broadcasted by the festival.

World Harp Congress in Cardiff postponed to 2022
World Harp Congress 2021 in Cardiff has been postponed to summer 2022 due to "uncertainty regarding Covid-19 and its effects on health, work and international travel". Liucilė was selected to perform her composition "Žalčiai" ("Grass-snakes") in the Congress, as well as with the "Harp Sirens" ensemble.
